Bellaire Senior Center

The Bellaire Senior Center is a vibrant community space in Bellaire, Ohio that welcomes older adults to stay active, connect with others, and access helpful resources. The center is part of Senior Services of Belmont County, a county-wide nonprofit network focused on promoting independence and quality of life for adults aged 60 and older. Anyone age 60 or older can join and benefit from the center’s daily offerings, which often include social activities like games, crafts, exercise sessions, educational speakers, special events, and opportunities to build friendships and community connections. Nutritious congregate meals are available Monday through Friday, and transportation services help members get to and from the center or other outings. The staff also assist seniors with benefit applications and information on programs like the Golden Buckeye card and nutrition services.

The Bellaire Senior Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, with the facility closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Funding for the senior center and the programs it offers comes from a mix of public and private support. This includes local Belmont County Senior Services levies, state funding through the Ohio Department of Aging and the Area Agency on Aging, and donations from participants. Services are not denied to anyone who cannot afford to contribute.
