2026 Asphalt Pavement Resurfacing & Catch Basin Replacement Project
General Notice:
The Village of Bellaire (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
2026 Asphalt Pavement Resurfacing & Catch Basin Replacement Project
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received by the Deputy Clerk located at the Municipal Building, 3197 Belmont Street, Bellaire, OH 43906 until Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
Scope of Work:
This project includes the milling and replacement of the existing asphalt surface on a number of street around the Village. Also included in this project is the removal and replacement of up to 28 various stormwater catch basin structures throughout the Village. All associated traffic control and maintenance will be included. All contractors bidding on the work shall be ODOT prequalified.
The following is a list of the streets where work will be performed:
Atchinson Street, Central Street, Union Street, Washington Street, 2 nd Street, 18th Street, 33rd Street, 36th Street, 42nd Street, 43rd Street, 49th Street, 5th Avenue, Birch Street, Dorer Avenue, Elm Street, Frazier Street, and Maple Street.
Catch basins will be removed and replaced at the following locations:
Belmont and 17th (NE), Belmont and 32nd (NE), Guernsey and Old Winding Hill, Guernsey and 18th (NE), Guernsey and 23 rd (E), Guernsey and 23 rd (W), Guernsey and 32nd (N E), Guernsey and 32nd (SE), Guernsey and 34th (NW), Guernsey and 35th (NE), Guernsey and 35th (NW), Guernsey and 35th (SW), Jefferson and 43rd Jefferson and 45th (SW), Jefferson and 47th (NW), Jefferson and 47th (SW), Noble and 45th (NE), Noble and 45th (SE), Noble and 45th (SW), Noble and 46th (SW), Noble and Alley at Plastic Brick Museum; Union Street at Auto Choice (E), Union Street at Auto Choice (W), 26th and Union (N), 26th and Union (S), 38th and Alley; 38th and Harrison; 41st and Trumbull, 41st at Francis Wallace Apts.
Bids are requested for the following Contract: 2026 Asphalt Pavement Resurfacing & Catch Basin Replacement Project
The Project has an expected duration of 120 days.

Prospective Bidders may obtain the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00A.M. and 4:00 P.M. and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office or a digital copy can be provided via electronic mail. Printed and emailed copies are available at no charge, however, any Bidder requesting shipment of the hard copies, or a digital copy on a flash drive, will be responsible for shipping costs. Upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents or electronic documents on flash drive will be sent via the prospective Bidder’s delivery service. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method chosen.
